We have arranged a great Christmas Package staying at The Ocean View in Shanklin with fantastic sea views.
Saturday 23 December. We head for Portsmouth and our ferry to Fishbourne then onto Shanklin where your host and their team will welcome you to the hotel, and after settling in, meet in the bar for a complimentary drink, move onto the restaurant for a delicious 3 course meal. Then it will be time to meet old friends and new in a get to know you evening of music and entertainment.
Christmas Eve. A traditional breakfast will be served, then some fun and activities or maybe board the coach for a visit to Newport for the morning, just in case you need to buy those last-minute presents. Lunch is served and a chance to look at the hotels Pop-Up Shop.
Join in for Christmas Carols around the piano followed by another delicious 3 course meal and an evening of entertainment and fun.
Christmas Day. After a light breakfast, time for Christmas Bingo and enter the Best Christmas Outfit’ competition in the morning before sitting down to an amazing Christmas Lunch. At 3pm there is the opportunity to watch King Charles III speech at 3pm. Afternoon tea and cake will be served, and the evening finished with hot mince pies and sausage rolls. It’s party time, plenty of fun and laughs, a raffle and an abundance of spot prizes to be won.
Boxing Day. After breakfast, enjoy a brisk walk along Shanklin beach then back to the hotel for a a family quiz and light lunch. Relax in the afternoon and then getting ready for dinner and the evening's entertainment. Just in case you may still be hungry, sausage rolls and mince pies will be served in the evening.
Wednesday 27th December.
Following a hearty breakfast, we bid a fond farewell and with wish's of a happy and prosperous New Year head for home.

The Ocean View Hotel enjoys unrivalled views looking out to sea across Shanklin Bay. Nestling on top of Eastcliffe, the hotel is situated a short distance from the beach; sea front and both Shanklin village with its main shopping street and the old village with its traditional thatched cottages, pubs and gift shops. With a bright spacious restaurant, licensed bar with plenty of seating, 6mx10m dancefloor, entertainment, heated indoor swimming pool, Indoor bowls area and a reading room there is always something to do. The 100 bedrooms have central heating, bath and/or shower and WC in addition to tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers, telephones and colour TV with radio channels. Lifts serve all floors.
