Thursford Christmas Spectacular
Wednesday 29th November 2023 to Thursday 30th November 2023
Departing in the morning we travel to Bury St Edmunds where today is Market Day and spend a couple of hours. At 3pm we continue to Swaffham and the George Hotel to settle in before a late afternoon meal served at 4pm. Our coach then leaves for Thursford at 5.30pm allowing an hour to view the lights and get comfortable before the show at 7pm.
On Thursday morning we have breakfast and set off to Cambridge at 10am leaving there about 2pm for home.
Billed as the biggest Christmas Show in Europe, full of glitz and glamour. With 130 professional performers this festive spectacular is packed with music, dancing and variety in a superbly illuminated setting, now the must have ticket for Christmas time, attracting over 100,000 visitors every year, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular is the most colourful and spectacular Christmas variety show you will ever see and experience.
The spectacular is housed in an enormous barn which during the summer is home to a collection of restored steam engines, organs and fairground memorabilia. This is all transformed at Christmas into a Winter Wonderland with grand chandeliers and so much snow, tinsel, glitter and lights you will surely be amazed.
