Leave the everyday at the gates and step into an occasion like no other in the Windsor Enclosure. A day in this vibrant enclosure is all about picnics, panorama and play. This is the only enclosure at Royal Ascot where guests are welcome to bring their own picnic and a bottle of sparkling wine or champagne (subject to picnic policy: https://www.ascot.com/royal-ascot-picnic-policy).
For a front-row experience like no other, the trackside lawns offer an exhilarating first glimpse at the horses racing for victory as they thunder down the track. Get caught up in the atmosphere as you watch your favourite race to Royal Ascot glory.
Whilst there is no official dress code for the Windsor Enclosure, guests are encouraged to dress in smart daywear. A hat, headpiece or fascinator is encouraged along with a jacket and collared shirt.
Ascot Racecourse is world-renowned for providing the breath taking horse racing events, delivering unforgettable experiences for fans, families and everyone who attends.
The gates open at 11am, we aim to get there fairly early to avoid some of the local traffic build up.
The Royal Procession is usually about 2pm with the first race about 2.30pm.
Last race is 5.30/6pm.
We will aim to leave around 6.30/7pm.
