This is a story of a spending a penny from Roman Times to the coming of the Victorian Sewer, a coach tour, Thames Cruise from Westminster to Greenwich and a visit to Sir Joseph Bazalgettes Cathedral of Sewage to see the Crossness Engines. The day included a blue badge tour guide, morning coffee and an afternoon cuppa, as well as entry to Cathedral of Sewage. All participants are advised to bring a packed lunch please. We leave the cathedral where our day concludes at 4.30pm. Back approx. 6.30pm
