Tour Itinerary:
Trier - Today we head to Trier, one of Germany’s oldest cities where Roman history sits alongside charming riverside scenery on the banks of the Moselle. Highlights include the remarkably preserved Porta Nigra, the Roman Imperial Baths, and the imposing Trier Cathedral, all reflecting the city’s importance as a former Roman capital. Beyond its ancient landmarks, Trier also offers lively squares, wine taverns, and scenic walks along cobbled streets.
Luxembourg - Enjoy a free day at leisure in Luxembourg City. Take a chance to explore at your own pace, whether wandering the dramatic UNESCO-listed Old Town with its fortified walls and deep river gorges, or enjoying the elegant atmosphere of the modern Kirchberg district.
Little Switzerland - An excursion into the picturesque Mullerthal Region, often called “Little Switzerland,” reveals a striking landscape of sculpted sandstone rock formations, dense woodland trails, and panoramic viewpoints that make it one of Luxembourg’s most scenic natural areas. The journey includes a stop in Diekirch, a charming riverside town on the Sauer known for its beautifully preserved medieval façades and historic buildings that reflect its rich heritage and relaxed atmosphere, before concluding with a scenic drive past the castle at Larochette, where dramatic ruins overlook the valley.
