By far the largest region in Scotland, the Highlands cover nearly 10,000 sq miles in northern Scotland. The region is home to stunning scenery, including the legendary Loch Ness. The crystal-clear waters surrounding the Highlands unsurprisingly make the region among the richest in the world for sh. During this holiday you get to see some of the nest scenery and spectacular views in the Western Scottish Highlands from the comfort of your luxury coach seat and also by local trains on two of the worlds most spectacular railway lines.
Leaving home early on Sunday we journey north with suitable breaks along the way to our overnight stop near Gretna Green. Next day we head for the highlands visiting the charming village of Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond and a lunchtime break before travelling over Glen Coe to arrive in Fort William our base of the next five nights.
Departing on Saturday morning retrace our outward route to Crianlarich before making our way through Glen Ogle to Callender and Stirling and onto our overnight hotel near to Gretna. After our last night in Scotland its across the border and south towards home where we expect to be around 6pm.

The Mountainside hotel is made up of two buildings joined by a covered walkway with the Leisure Club and Swimming Pool in the middle.
