Escape to the Harz Mountains with us and journey through Northern Germany’s scenic and historic highlights. Ride the oldest narrow-gauge railway through the Selke Valley from Quedlinburg to Alexisbad, then explore Quedlinburg’s medieval old town. Visit Goslar’s half-timbered houses and Imperial Palace, followed by an underground tour of Rammelsberg Mine. Enjoy a steam train climb to Brocken peak, then a scenic ride to Wernigerode Castle.

Selke Valley Railway - Experience the romantic Selke Valley’s untouched nature and board the Harz Mountains’ oldest narrow-gauge railway. Travel from UNESCO-listed Quedlinburg through Gernrode to Alexisbad, enjoying the scenic Harz foothills. Return to Quedlinburg for free time and a leisurely old town tour by tourist train

Goslar - Goslar, a UNESCO World Heritage town, features stunning half-timbered houses, medieval streets, and the historic Imperial Palace, once home to Holy Roman Emperors. After a guided tour and free time to explore or sample local cuisine, visit the Rammelsberg Mine museum and take an underground mine train tour.

Brocken Railway - Experience an unforgettable climb to Brocken, Northern Germany’s highest peak, aboard a vintage steam locomotive. Enjoy panoramic views of Harz National Park from Brocken Station, then return to Wernigerode for a tourist train ride up to Wernigerode Castle, learning about the town’s history along the way.

Elbe & Magdeburg - After breakfast, enjoy a boat cruise along the Elbe, taking in views of Magdeburg’s skyline, cathedral, and landmarks. Then, explore the city on a guided tour, discovering its Gothic architecture, the Green Citadel, and charming parks and squares for a perfect blend of history and culture.
